Why Repipe?® When you can ePIPE
ePIPE is a long term solution for pinhole leaks and corrosion, and reduces lead (Pb) and heavy metal leaching in pressurized piping systems, including potable water piping, pools and fire sprinklers.
The patented ePIPE process restores pipes “IN-PLACE”, with the application of an epoxy barrier coating. Once installed, ePIPE prevents future leaks, corrosion, and metal leaching. Because pipes are restored in-place, the ePIPE process causes less disruption and destruction than a traditional repipe. In addition, the process is engineered to last up to 60 years, making it a more viable long-term solution.
ePIPE has the fastest return to service in the industry, with a 90 minute cure time. In most cases water will be back on the SAME DAY, eliminating the need for displacement of residents during the restoration. ePIPE is also approved for both metallic and non-metallic piping systems, so even previous repairs made in PEX can be restored using the ePIPE process.
ePIPE is MORE than just Leak Protection. The patented ePIPE process is a proven solution for reduction of lead in drinking water due to lead pipes and/or lead contributors. ePIPE effectively reduces lead levels to well below the EPA guidelines and also protects against leaks and other forms of corrosion in piping systems. ePIPE has been chosen in schools, HOA’s, single family homes and multiple other types of properties as a solution for lead and leaks.
Make Lead (Pb) Part of Your Business, Become a LeadSmart Tester
Certified LeadSmart providers provide on-site water testing for lead in drinking water by using EPA-approved equipment, education on how to identify sources of lead in piping systems, professional remediation recommendations and a certificate of compliance. These services are also backed by an industry-first, $1 million Professional Errors and Omissions Insurance program.
Better and faster than a repipe
Costly Frequent Leaks
The chemicals used to clean tap water eats away at plumbing pipes causing frequent leaks. These leaks can be prevented and eliminated with the ePIPE protective barrier.
When plumbing pipes are eaten away by chemicals used to clean tap water they can release toxic chemicals into drinking water like lead and copper.

The ePIPE Solution
1. Air Drying of Pipes
Air hoses are connected to the piping system. The isolated system is then dried with preheated, filtered air.
2. Corundum Cleaning
The dried pipes are cleaned using an air and sand mixture that sandblasts the inside surface of the pipes. The cleaning process prepares the internal pipe surface for proper bonding of the epoxy.
3. Epoxy Coating Applied
The final stage of the ePIPE process is the application of the epoxy lining to the system. Once the coating is cured the pipes are reassembled, flushed and pressure tested. The finished product provides a "new pipe within a pipe" offering corrosion protection and protecting your water supply from leaching lead and leaks.
